Guiding the World Through Digital Signage

2018

Skoop Was Born

At the beginning his Freshman year of college, Skoop CEO, Josh Cooper, was looking for a way to get around campus for free. Thus, Skoop Pedi-Cab Co. was born.

In the spring of 2018, after multiple experiments with screen hardware and software, Skoop became the first company to successfully & sustainably offset the cost of short-distance transportation.

From our start as a pedicab business, Skoop has been obsessed with guiding and helping people. See our journey from a college business to a software start-up.

With Challenge Comes Opportunity

A year after launching with its first two prototypes, Skoop was ready to expand both in Michigan and beyond. With fleets in multiple locations, screen and ad management become an increasingly difficult challenge. There were no software solutions that allowed the team to control the entire network remotely. Out of this need, Skoop signage was born.
